I loved getting to know Dr. Sunana Sohi. I first found her on clubhouse, and I knew she would be a fantastic guest on Veggie Doctor Radio!

As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Sohi is passionate about sharing her expertise on supporting a healthy gut through plant diversity to improve our quality of life. She walks us through her plant-based journey and how she now applies plant-based nutrition to her profession.

More about my honored guest:

Dr. Sunana Sohi is a board certified gastroenterologist. After receiving her undergraduate degree with honors at Harvard University, she completed medical school at Tufts University before moving to Chicago for residency at the University of Chicago and GI fellowship at Rush University. She now practices and raises her family in her hometown of Louisville, KY. 
 

Her clinical practice and medical speaking engagements focus on plant-based nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits and their power to treat and potentially prevent chronic GI illness. She is very passionate about wellness and uses her spare time to promote healthy lifestyle habits on social media (IG and CH @sunanasohi.md). In addition, Dr. Sohi is a wife and mother, and in her free time, she performs as an aerial circus artist. She believes in the power of play and the importance of constant learning, challenge, and growth, which led her to aerials and various other activities to keep her life joyful and keep her present. @sunanasohi.md
