#121: What The Original Produce Mom is Doing to Help You Eat More Fruits and Vegetables

“Fruits and vegetables are the most nutrient dense foods you can eat.” -Lori Taylor

Lori Taylor was inspired as a young child when she attended a cooking camp as a young child and had the experience of selecting foods to cook. She then worked in corporate America for 10 years and learned how to connect with farmers and growers and market fresh fruits and vegetables. The Produce Moms began there, but it has turned into so much more.

In this episode of Veggie Doctor Radio, we hear from Lori Taylor about a brand that she started to inspire you to include more fruits and vegetables into your life. She is passionate, she is driven and she is working hard to inspire you to get more fruits and vegetables on your plate.

We discuss:

  • How The Produce Moms started and the life-changing decision she had to make in 2015

  • Why she is so passionate about produce

  • How having her own children changed her perspective on eating fruits and vegetables

  • Why she is active on Capitol Hill

  • What would be her wildest dream come true for school food

  • What she wishes more parents knew

  • The personal habit she is most proud of
