More about my honored guest:

Board certified in lifestyle medicine and obstetrics-gynecology. Harvard Chef coach certified.
I started my own journey as a nursing major in college, where the ideas for taking care of the “whole patient” were born. Later as a pre-med major, I fell in love with osteopathic medicine for the same reasons: commitment to care for the patient in a holistic way, instead of focusing treatment on one disease process. The philosophy followed me into my private ob/gyn practice of 30 years, caring for women of all ages.
I read the book, The China Study, about 10 years ago and it changed my life. Whole plant foods naturally cut my sugar cravings and provided an abundance of critical nutrients that allowed me to lose 45 lbs. At 66, I feel terrific and love working out at my gym doing HIIT workouts with young people, they inspire me! I know that if I can help people discover this incredible lifestyle at a younger age than I, they can be in even greater health when they reach my age and beyond! My lifestyle medicine practice is delivered via a telemedicine platform, with live group coaching and cooking classes. And it is SO much FUN! LifestyleMedicineWellnessandRecovery.com
