#137: Becoming Plant Positive with Aussie Kate Galli

“Mindset is everything.” -Kate Galli

Kate Galli discovered at the young age of 16 that her food choices could reflect her personal values. However, it took her 23 years to learn more about the compassionate benefits of a vegan lifestyle. She wishes she could have known sooner, but now she is an enthusiastic and positive advocate for animals and a promoter of a vegan and plant-based lifestyle. She also discovered through her own journey that eating a plant-based diet is about abundance, not restriction and it is fully compatible with her fitness goals.

In this episode of Veggie Doctor Radio, I have a relaxed conversation with animal activist and master personal trainer Kate Galli.

We discuss:

  • Her vegan journey

  • Her greatest passion right now

  • Her new podcast Plant Positive

  • Australia’s food culture and animal agriculture

  • What she believes is the greatest obstacle people encounter when adopting a vegan lifestyle

  • Her Top 10 Tips for to Make Adopting a Plant-Based Lifestyle Easy

  • What she wishes more people knew

  • What she would change if she could

  • The personal habit that she is most proud of
